Meet Bruce.

Hi,

I'm Bruce.

A reckless neurodivergent medic with a brain injury.

An ex-critical care specialist, organ donation leader, wannabe writer.

I dunno. I’ve been reborn.

We each have to figure out who we are; it’s early days for me.

You figure it out.

I was Western Australia’s Director of Organ and Tissue Donation, a highly experienced Anaesthetist, and Head of Department in Intensive Care Unit at Rockingham Hospital, Western Australia.

Medicine is a tall pedestal to fall from.

Turns out that none of that medical stuff defines who I am.

There’s no future in looking backwards.

Medics call it the ‘Retrospectoscope’; a machine that brings wisdom after the event.

Shit definitely happens.

What else can one do but get up, dust off, and have another go.

This is me standing up again.
